Moving Lister Privacy Policy
Effective August 26, 2026Moving Lister helps you create organized lists and exports. This policy explains the information processed by the app and the services it uses.
Account information
We use your email address for account creation, sign-in, email verification, password recovery, and account security. Firebase Authentication assigns a unique user ID to your account. Your email address and user ID are linked to your Moving Lister account and are used only to provide app functionality.
Device and session information
To protect your account and support Moving Lister’s single-device session feature, the app stores an app-generated session identifier, device name, device model, operating-system name and version, and the time the session was updated. This information is stored in a session record associated with your Firebase user ID and is therefore linked to your account.
Lists, photos, and exports
Your list text, contact details entered for a list, item information, and photos are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. PDF and Excel exports are generated on your device for you to preview, save, or share using iOS.
Purchases
Subscriptions and payments are processed by Apple. Moving Lister receives purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock subscription features, but does not receive your full payment-card details.
Service providers
Google Firebase provides authentication and account-session services. Firebase may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and user-agent information, to operate, secure, and prevent abuse of its services. Apple provides App Store purchases and subscription management. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Advertising and tracking
Moving Lister does not sell your personal information, display third-party advertising, share information with data brokers, or use your email address, user ID, device/session information, lists, or photos for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.
Deletion and retention
Account and session information is retained while needed to operate your account. The current remote session record is normally removed when you sign out. You can permanently delete your account in Moving Lister under Settings → Delete Account. This removes your Firebase Authentication account, its associated session record, and the app’s locally stored lists and photos on that device. Apple subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your Apple Account subscription settings.
